Those of us who are called to business have an opportunity to generate income. And businesses are designed to make money. So if you are in business you should be making money. Is money really important? People have told me that it isn’t, but yet we can’t even do the necessary things in life without money, like eat, have shelter, or take care of our family. I feel like money is extremely important. And desiring more of it is not wrong. I have heard that “money is evil” but money in itself is not evil. If you take a $100.00 bill and sit it on a table it is not going to do anything evil.
Money can be a tool to do an abundance of good, especially in the hands of a good person. As an entrepreneur did you know that your money has a mission? What I mean by that is I believe one of the reasons we have been called to be entrepreneurs is so God can flow money through us, so that we can financially support causes that are near and dear to our heart. For one it may be funding an orphanage, for another it may be building a youth center in the community, for another it may be helping to support a mission trip at church, and so on.
When we think about our money having a mission any feelings about manifesting wealth should diminish. Because money is not just about us it can be used to make a difference. Now that doesn’t mean that you can’t purchase some of the things you desire and deserve, but what it does mean is that the more money you are blessed to generate, the more you are blessed to do for others.
And if you have a passion to contribute to causes financially don’t feel bad if you don’t have the 6 or 7 figure business yet. Don’t let that stop you. You can start small and grow from there. What I have seen in my personally life is whatever I give out comes back to me in abundance. That law works! So even if you start off giving small before you know it your level of giving has increased.
I used to feel really uncomfortable talking about money. But then I realized money is necessary. I realized that money stress can kill. And I realized that our money has a mission. I began to work on my money mindset and break through self-limiting beliefs around money, and it was one of the best decisions I made in my personal life and professional life.
