Born in a small town just outside Houston, Texas, Dr. Ray’s aspiration to become a physician was rooted in his early life experiences. His primary influence was his mother, a dedicated nurse whose compassion made a significant mark on his decision to work in medicine. Additionally, witnessing his uncle’s struggle with multiple chronic illnesses following his military service further fueled his desire to pursue medicine. These personal encounters not only shaped Dr. Ray’s career path but also instilled in him a profound commitment to treat each patient with the same care and empathy as he would his own family.
Dr. Ray’s mission extends beyond mere treatment; he is devoted to empowering individuals to regain their independence and assist them with managing chronic pain that can significantly impact personal and family life. His medical education started with The University of Texas at Houston, where he completed his medical school and training. Upon completing his training, Dr. Ray brought his expertise to Phoenix, where he has been a pillar in the medical community for over 20 years. His focus in the valley is on pioneering advanced pain management procedures. He specializes in Spinal Cord Stimulation, Stellate Ganglion, and other sympathetic blocks, along with Regenerative Medicine using PRP and stem cells. His expertise extends to treating a wide array of conditions including nerve, joint, and musculoskeletal pain, always with an eye towards innovation and patient-centered care.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Ray is a family man at heart, cherishing time spent with loved ones.
