Dr. Amy M. Cannatta, DC, is a distinguished graduate of the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees with honors. Since embarking on her professional journey in 2006, Dr. Cannatta has established a thriving solo private practice, demonstrating her expertise and passion for chiropractic care.
During her illustrious tenure of 10 years as a chiropractor in Connecticut, Dr. Cannatta served as a valued team physician for the WNBA Connecticut Sun Women’s Basketball team, as well as NCAA Division 1 athletes, catering to their diverse range of spine and joint-related injuries. Her commitment to excellence in patient care and her ability to address intricate medical concerns garnered recognition and respect within the field.
In 2015, Dr. Cannatta published her highly acclaimed book, “Pursepective: From Ruin to Resilience,” shedding light on the critical issue of domestic violence. Within this esteemed role, she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of 25 Board Certified neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons, assuming the crucial responsibility of clinical triage for surgical and non-surgical treatment.
